At Genesis, we believe our people are the key difference. Nowhere is this more evident than our management team. The people who lead Genesis come from a variety of backgrounds and each possess different but complementary skills sets. They all have made their own unique, individual contribution to the company values. They represent the experience, talent, skill and commitment of the Genesis platform.
Richard Pope | Chairman, President, Chief Executive Officer and Secretary In November 2009, Mr. Pope was appointed the Interim Chief Executive Officer of Genesis Worldwide Inc. ("Genesis"), and in April 2010, he was appointed the Chief Executive Officer. In June 2010, Mr. Pope was also appointed the Chairman, President and Secretary of Genesis. Mr. Pope brings over 20 years of experience in the construction and residential real estate industry. From 1971 to mid-2001, Mr. Pope held various positions with the Taylor Woodrow Group of Companies, a large publicly traded UK based construction company. In mid-2001, Mr. Pope formed a new residential land development and homebuilding company, St. James Properties, which focuses its core business on developing new home communities in California. Mr. Pope is currently directing the design, entitlement, and implementation of the Sonoma Mountain Village redevelopment. He studied civil engineering and technical design at West London College, Northwood Technical College and Southall College of Building and Engineering. Mr. Pope is a member of the Building Industry Association, the National Association of Homebuilders, and the Sales and Marketing Council. He is also the founder and director of BrightHaven, a non-profit animal sanctuary.
Wil Lindgren | Chief Financial Officer Mr. Lindgren has over 20 years experience in accounting, auditing, cash management, commercial lending and risk management. Before joining Genesis Worldwide, Mr. Lindgren served as a Director, Secretary and CFO for Immecor Corporation, a high technology manufacturing company. Mr. Lindgren holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
