At Genesis, we believe our people are the key difference. Nowhere is this more evident than our management team. The people who lead Genesis come from a variety of backgrounds and each possess different but complementary skills sets. They all have made their own unique, individual contribution to the company values. They represent the experience, talent, skill and commitment of the Genesis platform.
Mr. Mifsud joined the Company in October of 2001, and initiated the creation and innovation of the Genesis Solution, and subsequently founded its technology and innovation division in 2003. Mr. Mifsud has been instrumental in developing the companies' technologies, establishing it's operations, expanding and growing the business, as well as identifying and attracting it's leadership team. Prior to Genesis, Mr. Mifsud's entire career has been focused in the high growth, enterprise software business and he has held various executive positions including Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. During his tenure at Rand, the company grew from a $30 million private company to a $300 million public company over a 5 year period with 70 offices worldwide. Similarly at Pivotal the company grew to $95.0 million in revenue providing software solutions in 35 countries globally and was selected by Deloitte and Touche as the one of the top ten fastest growing technology companies in North America in 1999. Mr. Mifsud is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto.
Prior to joining Genesis Worldwide in September 2008, Mr. Kent held various senior finance positions with multinational, high growth companies in the software and manufacturing industries. His most recent position was Vice President, Finance at Redknee Inc., an international telecommunication software and services provider, which is listed on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) of the London Stock Exchange. He was also Head of Finance for Hyundai Auto Canada and a senior audit manager at KPMG LLP. Mr. Kent is a Chartered Accountant and a graduate of Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree. Mr. Kent has over 16 years of finance experience including capital market and debt fund raising, business process design/reengineering, and establishing international business arrangements and legal entities.
Mr. Mostafa joined Genesis in 2006 to establish its Licensing Division, he has been orchestrating its licensing activities worldwide since then. Prior to joining Genesis, Mr. Mostafa was the Vice President, Sales & Marketing of VisualGate Systems Inc., a Canadian electronic surveillance research and development company. He was instrumental in expanding the company's business from three North American accounts to more than 60 accounts in 15 countries across the world, and tripling its revenues within two years. He founded a software development firm, Com.Com in 1997 and by 2000 it was a 40-employee company servicing the Mediterranean region. He designed several award-winning products including a series of software packages, numerous business to consumer websites and portals, and a pioneering business to business online marketplace. Mr. Mostafa is a Microsoft Certified Professional with a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering, and a Master of Business Administration with Distinction from State University of New York at Buffalo with dual concentration in Marketing and Information Systems. Mr. Mostafa has won four US national business competitions and was elected to the prestigious Beta Gamma Sigma and Who's Who.
Prior to joining Genesis, Mr. Tancredi worked as a Civil Engineer on a variety of projects including land development, construction, and environmental remediation, eventually specializing in Structural Engineering. Mr. Tancredi worked on various building and bridge projects while employed as a Structural Engineer in Florida. Upon joining Genesis, Mr. Tancredi became involved in the design of cold formed steel structures and is considered today to be one of the leading cold-formed steel engineers. Mr. Tancredi has an Honors Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo and earned a Master in Structural Engineering from the University of Miami. Mr. Tancredi is a licensed professional engineer in the province of Ontario. He also holds licenses in the states of Florida and Alabama and continues procuring licensure throughout the United States.
Prior to joining KML in October 2007, Mr. Scivoletto began his business career in 1984 with a family-owned framing and construction business. He has worked with many successful builders helping to create new communities for thousands of families. Over the course of the last 23 years, Mr. Scivoletto has developed an outstanding reputation as one of the top framing contractors in Ontario, Canada. He has managed his own business which has involved land acquisition, land development, financing, and final build out.
Prior to joining Genesis, Mr. Huntington held various management roles including Vice president of Software Maintenance and Support Services for Workbrain Inc. ("Workbrain"). During Mr. Huntington's 5-year tenure at Workbrain, the company experienced significant revenue growth, starting at US$1 million in 2000 to US$80 million by 2005. Mr. Huntington was a key member of the management team, supporting sales, implementations and product development. Workbrain's client base includes many Fortune 100 clients involved in various large scale implementations in industries including airlines, manufacturing, finance, healthcare and retail. The Enterprise Workforce management software is considered mission critical for employee scheduling and data capture for payroll with many operations running around clock and around the world. Prior to 2000, Mr. Huntington held various management positions implementing and designing software including Director of Implementation for Iconix International and Project Manager at Rand A Technologies implementing customer relationship management and other business related software solutions. Early in his career, Mr. Huntington was involved in sales and marketing for the Canadian distributor of one of the largest window and door manufacturers in North America. This included direct sales to the Canadian residential construction market as well as management of the distribution network in Ontario and Eastern Canada.
